Powell CNC (trading name of Maxicam Ltd) is the official Aeon Laser distributor in the United Kingdom. We are a leading supplier of machinery equipment in the UK, France and Ireland with a huge amount of retained laser and CNC experience drawing on nearly 30 years.
Our Croydon headquarters boast a showroom with numerous demo machines and a fully equipped training centre staffed by skilled engineers ready to provide comprehensive support. Whether it’s resolving issues or pioneering new innovations, we’re continuously engaged in research to deliver top-quality products and intelligent solutions. Our goal is to ensure that operating your machines is not only efficient but also enjoyable and fulfilling.
Building on this expertise, we set out to develop a range of high quality, yet affordable laser machines, Aeon lasers, using the most efficient components available on the market. Before Aeon launched its own engraving and cutting laser manufacturing plant, the market was overwhelmed by cheap and low-quality Chinese machines.
Distributors faced high warranty repair costs, while end users complained about the poor quality of "made in China" products. There was a lack of machines on the market combining quality and competitive prices. The options were either too expensive or of unsatisfactory quality.
It is in this context that the Aeon Laser was born. By studying the shortcomings of existing machines, we have redesigned our products to meet current market needs. The first model in the “All in one Mira” series quickly met with great success.
